Service Description

Did you know that many women's first experience of yoga is in a prenatal yoga class? Yoga postures, breathing, and relaxation techniques help ease pregnancy and prepare you for labor, motherhood, and beyond. This 4-week prenatal yoga series is suitable for every stage of pregnancy and is an ideal way to get your body moving. It's also an option for those interested in increasing fertility and postpartum. In this series, you will learn breathing techniques that calm the mind and invigorate the body, yoga postures that help to stretch out tension and gently strengthen you, as well as relaxation techniques. Each session is 60-minutes and held online. Pre-registration is required for the 4-week course and the cost is $75. When you sign up you will be emailed a Zoom link to join the class. What To Know Before Joining Class: 1: Wear comfortable clothes in which you can easily move. 2: Try to join each class on an empty stomach or have just a light snack beforehand. 3: You will need a yoga mat, yoga blanket, or beach towel, and 3rd-trimester mommas may wish to have a chair for support. 4: No refunds, credits, or transfers for individual classes missed in the series. No refunds will be issued after the series begins. Please register early as space is limited. 5: If you miss the first week of the series, you can still join on Week 2 if space allows but must pay the total course fee. If you need to cancel your registration for the entire series, you must provide 24-hour notice before the 1st class in the series. No refunds will be issued after the series begins. How to Use Zoom for Online Yoga Classes 1. After you register for this series, you will receive an invitation to the zoom meeting in your email. ​2. Click on the link in the email to join the class! ​Note: *If you do not have the Zoom app, the link will open to the zoom website so that you can download the app. *You do not need to create a Zoom account but you will need to download the software to join the Zoom class. ​3. Once open, please click the button to join the meeting. ​4. Enter your name and the meeting ID specified in your emailed invitation. ​5. Be sure to check that your video and audio are on, and then you will have successfully joined the online class! Yes, it's that easy! Before the teacher begins instruction, please mute your microphone.
